If you’re clever, you’ll be able to find lots of uses for PVC pipe. Sensible Prepper, a very clever guy, came up with 17 survival uses for it. Some of these might surprise you.
Here’s his list:

- Gather wood.
- Make a PVC bow.
- Make a quiver.
- Make a weapon.
- Make a stake.
- Make a canteen.
- Make an ice pack.
- Carry water.
- Make a fishing kit.
- Make a fishing pole.
- Make a periscope.
- Make a storage container.
- Make a clamp.
- Gather/carry things.
- Make a PVC target stand.
- Make a blowgun.

Stashing the proceeds of a robbery underground in a watertight insect-proof secluded spot .

You never know when you need a potato cannon. They can come in handy during a crisis.
Cotton wadding soaked in water or Vaseline with rocks (hobo birdshot)
Cotton wadding with nails, screws…
You can even make them into a napalm launcher. Cup of benzine, 1/2gallon of gas and styrofoam- home brew napalm. Use Vaseline to line the barrel, stuff the napalm in the tube and fire (the spark and flame in the combustion chamber will light the incendiary) Sticks to everything and burns for over 20 mins.
Good to keep those pesky looters at bay.

Very good ideas, useful bow or storage tubes. Never thought of sealing the thread end to keep out water always thought just place that end down. Still may seep though. Ammo and gun storage for whatever reason is what I have them for.
With the bigger pipes 2″ and up, it’s easy to find threaded fittings with an O-Ring already in place. Might not be at your local Home improvement store, but from plumbing supply houses.
PVC makes a good temporary frame for shelter or to hold bug netting off berry plants and their veggies. Can make a greenhouse out of pvc and plastic sheeting.
