Every day it seems more and more likely that we will end up in a nuclear exchange with North Korea. Although the concept of mutually assured destruction has kept a nuclear war at bay, it’s possible that if the U.S. invades North Korea and Kim Jong Un believes his dynasty is about to collapse, he will fire everything he has. In other words, he might try to take as many people with him as possible.
The question is, how much damage could he do? Well, quite a bit. But assuming he only has a few bombs, you still have a decent chance of surviving as long you’re not in the fire zone and can get to a good shelter. At that point, the thing you’ll have to worry about is not the bomb itself but the nuclear fallout.

Any commercial iodized table salt will usually give you 150 micrograms of iodine for a daily dose for an adult if you take 5/8 of a teaspoon. This is cheaper and easier to find than commercial iodine pills. Kids get less in proportion to their weight, and babies get tiny doses since too much iodine harms their developing nervous systems. If you dose up on healthy normal iodine at 5/8 teaspoon per day, your thyroid is filled up with good iodine and your body will absorb close to zero of the radioactive iodine. To be extra sure, just take 3/4 teaspoon daily for an adult. Pepto-Bismol can also be used as a decorporation agent to get rid of some of the radioactive heavy metals.
Activated charcoal is used to absorb poisons and remove them from the body. Maybe kaolin clay could be used also in a similar fashion. It can be used to draw out undesirable things like infections in the body. Some people drink it but it must be taken with a lot of water. Might want to do some research into these two.
Potassium iodide and various other compounds that are found in this article are used for thyroid blocking. This is a tactic used to prevent the thyroid gland from absorbing to much radiation and causing various cancers of the endocrine system. It is not the be all and end all of radiation protection.
Activated charcoal is an emittic at high enough doses. So do your research well before using it unless you want to throw up.
Activated Charcoal is NOT an emittic. It absorbs poisons and harsh substances like high content acids and alkalines. It is used so that those substances NO NOT REGURGITATE and further harm the esophagus or get inhaled into the lungs. It is exactly the OPPOSITE of a substance that causes vomiting.
Calcium Bentonite clay internally and in clay baths to pull things out!
