    If your town has a power outage that lasts longer than you can make your clothes last, you'll need to a way to wash clothes. You can buy a powerless washing machine such as the Wonderwash, but it's a lot cheaper to make your own. All you need is a five-gallon bucket, a plunger, and a drill.
