This week’s video comes from Full Spectrum Survival. A little over a year ago, I shared a video about how to open a can without a can opener. The trick is to rub the can on some concrete until the lid is loose enough to pop off.

But what if you’re out in the wild and there is no concrete or even a flat rock to rub the can against? Well, turns out if you have a metal spoon, you can get a can open by rubbing the edge of the spoon against a crease in the can until it breaks open.
If you’re not sure what I mean by that, watch the video below to see it done.

Absolutely helpful…and as above, very cool hair!
In the photo; the person’s holding a P–38 can opener why not just carry one of those?
I am learning. som many good things. What I have learned is coming true.My family doesn’t believe anything I say. Each thing that is bad happens they say “Oh Mom, you were right.” It will be too late to help them later. I do have things hidden under my bed. Why do people think this way? The food will be hard to get. If the unpredictable virus spreads again. We will be SOL when SHTF.The truck drivers will be sick and not able to drive the trucks. We do not know if this virus will give us immunity. This virus does not follow the rules. There could be an earthquake, tornado or hurricane. Tennessee all ready had a tornado, how are they doing with two disasters. This happened in Nashville. All you need is a dog and a pickem up truck and you will have a hit.
Although this is interesting; if you do not carry a EDC knife that is strong enough to open a can, I doubt you would survive very long in a survival/ SHTF scenario.
And if you do not even have a knife, where did you come up with the canned goods?
Something to Consider.
Well done. I will use this as a training exercise for my Cub Scout training. Thanks.
