How $5 a Week Can Get Your Family 379 Pounds of Food

If you're a prepper on a budget, you'll find this video by The Green Prepper very interesting. In it, he proves that a little money and patience can lead to a huge stockpile of food. You just have to be consistent.

He created a document (which you can download here) that has a schedule of what to purchase every week. For example, the first week you'll buy 11 cans of Vienna sausage, the second week you'll buy 5 pounds of pasta, the third week you'll buy 6 cans of pasta sauce, and so forth.

Each of these purchases should only cost about $5 at a store like Walmart or Sam's Club, and by the end of the year you'll have a huge stockpile of food. This is a great plan for preppers who don't have a lot of money or a lot of time to figure out what foods to buy.

Watch the video below to hear him explain the plan in more detail.
