Every prepper understands the importance of having a bug out bag. Unfortunately, a good bag and all the gear that goes in it can be a bit pricey for some people, costing hundreds of dollars. In this video, Tim from EverydayTacticalVids proves you can make a bug out bag for very little money.

Walmart sells Paracord, instead of close line. Like oldguysays ideas too. Thx
Liked the video, very good info and the trial video was a total plus .
Add some plastic drop cloths and some nylon line. and some heavy duty contractor size trash bags and I would have all the gear packed in trash bags to keep all the gear dry in the bag and the sleeping bag dry as well. Check out a “Dakota Fire Hole” as a way to have low profile fire. For that you would need a some trowel. I would add metal camp spoon, fork and knife too
peanut butter and crackers go rancid very quickly in the trunk of your car and taste like HELL. As for a water bottle I would just use a empty 1 liter pop battle. as for the head lights – tape the switch so they can not come on by accident. Make a ‘Billy can’ out of a #10 can and a metal coat hanger instead of the ‘loaf tins’. Romaine noodles would be a better choice for food you can eat the noodles dry and they taste fine. I would have added a steel canteen or camping cup so I could have hot food. You should store some of your matches in the 5 in 1 Survival Whistle that way the matches are not all in one place.
