How to Charge Your Phone With a 9 Volt Battery

Here’s a great tip that could come in handy whether there’s a disaster or not. In the video below, CrazyRussianHacker explains how to charge a cell phone with a car charger, a house key, and a 9 volt battery.

All you have to do is touch the ends of the charger and key to the battery and it will conduct electricity. Since it might be tricky holding everything together like that, he recommends taping them together.

Watch the video below to see it done.

    Thank you for the instructional video on how to recharge a cell phone with a car charger and a key;
    Although I have some serious health issues I am still able to drive and Always make sure I have my phone
    (a Samsung Galaxy J3) with me, but it has to be recharged at least three times a day.

    So if I have an Emergency and my battery is dead I’m
    SOL which is Not an option and from now on will always keep two fresh 9V batteries in my emergency kit plus an extra auto charger, as well as one of my old Trac phones, which would keep it’s charge for several days, to ensure I don’t wind up not being able
    To call for help.

    Respectfully,

    Larry M. Whalen

    Waited my limit of ten minutes for the video to start. It didn’t.
