Today I want to share a video series called “SHTF City Survival” by TheBrooklynPrepper. In the first video he talks about his plan to get around the city and retrieve family members from school and workplaces after a disaster. He also covers his mode of transportation and explains his get home bag.
In the second video he talks about bugging in versus bugging out and gives a brief tour of his country homestead. However, since the video series is more about city survival, he quickly gets back to it and talks about what he will do first once his family is home.
His plan is to go back out and buy as many supplies as he can. I wasn’t expecting this, but he points out that—depending on the type of disaster—it will probably be a few days before people start getting desperate and rioting. He also has a clever plan for storing enough water to last a year.
In the next video he talks about lighting, heating, cooking and other important topics. There are detailed descriptions of the supplies he bought and reviews of a couple different stoves. There’s a total of seven videos in his SHTF City Survival series and I encourage you to watch them all. They’re full of helpful, common sense advice. Click here to watch them.
If you like these videos, there are over 100 more on his Youtube channel.
