I’ve noticed my bills seem to creep a little higher every month. Sometimes it’s not even noticeable, then one day I realize I’m paying way more for something than I used to, especially groceries. This is the result of a monetary system that relies on creating new money to keep the economy going. The more money there is in the system, the more expensive things get. And unfortunately, it’s only going to get worse.
It’s all the more difficult when you’re a prepper who is attempting to stock up on extra supplies. But if you can manage to lower your bills, you might be able to save enough money to do just that. Patrick Blair of Survival At Home wrote a post with 45 ways to lower your monthly bills. Although some of these are pretty obvious, there are quite a few I hadn’t thought of yet.
He writes, “It’s no secret that life is expensive. The bad news is, it gets more expensive every year. Inflation drives up the cost of living, gas prices go up year after year, and the older your kids get, the more they eat (so learn to save money on your groceries now). There is a little good news, though – there’s a ton of ways to save money on your monthly bills!” Follow the link below to keep reading.
