I don’t normally post doom-and-gloom articles. In my opinion, constantly obsessing over disasters that could happen is a waste of energy. You’re better off focusing on your preps and enjoying your life. However, I think it’s a good idea to poke one’s head up every now and then and see what’s going on. And over the summer, I got caught up on the news. Things aren’t looking good, to put it mildly.
In my opinion, we’re entering a very dangerous period in history. Historically, some of the most dangerous times have been during periods of transition, and right now there are several huge transitions going on in politics (new president), geopolitics (a new cold war), the economy (becoming more global), technology (improving exponentially), the climate (warming up, man-made or not), and more. These are just a few areas where we could have a major disaster. Let this article be a reminder of why it’s so important to be prepared for anything.
