You’ve probably already heard of Bug Out Bags and Get Home Bags, but have you ever heard of EDC Bags? EDC stands for “Everyday Carry.” These are items people keep on their person wherever they go: keys, wallet, phone, watch, pen, breath mints, etc.
A good prepper goes a little further than that by also carrying things that could be useful in an emergency: compass, lighter, knife, multi-tool, flashlight, mini first aid kit, paracord, and so forth. If you have a lot of EDC items, you may want to put them into a small bag you can carry with you. This is called an EDC Bag.
While Bug Out Bags are usually kept at home and Get Home Bags are usually kept in the car are at work, EDC Bags are small and light enough to carry almost anywhere. But what exactly should you put in your EDC Bag?
