Thanks to the Internet, most of us stopped using phone books years ago. Yet they keep showing up at our doors. Most people roll their eyes and throw them straight into the trash, but imagine how much paper gets wasted this way!
Instead of throwing the phone book away, you should keep the current one on hand in case the Internet goes down and you need to look up a phone number. However, your neighbors probably aren’t worried about that happening. So on the day phone books are delivered, go around and ask your neighbors if you can have their phone books (just ignore the strange looks they give you). Why?
